Singapore’s first-ever prescription-only sexual health pill will be available to men who have low sexual desire – the first in a new drug-class to tackle impotence.
The sexual health pill – designed to treat and treat male sexual dysfunction – will be available to men who have low sexual desire for up to three months, according to the latest research published by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
This new treatment will help men who experience impotence or difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection after ejaculating on more than one occasion, say experts.
“We’re excited to see this medicine for men who have low sexual desire to help them overcome this challenging condition,” says Dr T. Kumar Kumar, a medical and mental health expert at NICE.

Patients in the study will get a prescription for the drug, which they must take once a day or more in the morning or evening, and then the dose will be increased and the effect taken for up to six weeks.
The medication is available as a tablet and gel, a gel-like substance that dissolves in the mouth, allowing for easy swallowing. It is a “first-in-class” treatment, which means patients will have a simple way to get an erection when they swallow it.
This new drug will have a similar effect to the older Viagra, which has been shown to be effective in improving impotence symptoms, like dizziness and fainting.
“For some men, this medication is the first-in-class treatment for erectile dysfunction, with potentially fewer side effects than Viagra,” says Dr Kumar.
“But for others, it can improve their sexual performance, which is what we hope will help them overcome impotence.”
In the new study, experts from the National Centre for Treatment and Research Excellence (NCRM) conducted five studies of three drugs on men with mild to severe erectile dysfunction: Viagra, Levitra and Cialis. They found that the treatment for men with low sexual desire can increase their ability to achieve an erection.
But it was not clear whether these drugs were effective in men with a history of low sexual desire. They were also not effective in men who took the drugs before they started their treatment.
In the first of these studies, patients had to take the drugs for about six weeks before they started taking the drug.
The results of these studies showed that the drug was generally well-tolerated. However, it was not clear how effective the treatment was, and so the drug did not work as well as previously thought.
The NCCE also said that its results showed that patients taking the drugs before taking the drug had a lower risk of adverse events.
“However, this study shows that the treatment is generally well-tolerated. There was no evidence that the treatment is more effective than previously thought,” it said.
A group of researchers at the NCCE published in theJournal of Sexual Medicinethat found that men who used the drug before taking the drug had a reduced risk of adverse events compared to those who were not taking the drug.
It said that the new study was the first in a new drug class that could help men who have low sexual desire to achieve or maintain an erection.
